ABOUT US

Participation in sports is useful to everybody to improve physical and mental fitness. Sports play a great role in everyone’s busy life especially for students.Physical education is an integral part of educational programme designed to promote the optimum development of an individual. It makes us emotionally, mentally and physically strong. 

The primary aim of physical education varies based on the needs of the time and place. A sport event is commonly defined as an organized, competitive and skillful physical activity requiring commitment and fair play. College of Computer Application For women is keen to implement programs to promote excellence in sports.  

This Institute helps students to achieve to the best of their abilities and come out as successful sports person. The management encourages the sports persons and gratefully acknowledges their love for sports. Inter-collegiate under SNDT University  and MKSSS Samsthas organised lot of sports events in particular academic year(kho-kho, Kabaddi, Athletics, yoga, Suryanamskar, Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, tug of war, Basketball, Volleyball , Football, Cricket, essay writing, power point presentation and several other indoor and outdoor games). 

The Sports Cell is established with the objectives to inspire students for physical and mental exercises for their fitness, enhancing the sportsman ship attitude and learning of management principles viz. leadership, team work, problem solving etc. through participation in sports.

Encourage all Students were afforded opportunity to participate in sports while promoting a safe and supportive environment

MISSION

1) Increase involvement of women in sport at all levels(State,District, National, International). 2) To develop integrated and elegant personality with sound mind and healthy body and encouraging the development of team spirit among all members of our teams and their coaches. 3) Developing good attitudes of pride, sportsmanship and ethical behavior in players.
